JUST A CARD INDIE WEEK DAY 5 - STOCKING FILLERS

This is the final day of the wonderful JUST A CARD’s Indie Week and it’s Indie Friday; the alternative to Black Friday. It’s all about using your purchasing power for good and supporting the creative small businesses that make this world a more interesting place!

Every day this week I’ve been blogging and posting on Instagram with my own personal recommendations of really cool shops to buy incredible things from. If you missed my previous posts, catch up here:

Today I’m making a few suggestions for stocking fillers. Whether we’re able to meet up in person or not this Christmas, these would all be welcome gifts and, being small are supremely postable!

I’ve bought things from each and every one of them in the past and can vouch for their quality, beauty and usefullness! Well, the only one I didn’t buy is the CHELACHE knitted head / hair / neck band which is one of my own products, but I do wear it all the time and it’s very useful to keep your ears warm or your hair off your face!

So here they all are. They are all small and purse friendly gifts to stuff in stockings or to post to your friends and family. I think there’s something for everyone.

Stylish face coverings with original prints by SUK £20

Knitted head / neck /hair band by CHELACHE £35.70 with the site-wide Indie Friday discount* - today only! (normally £42)

Miniature pots by YUTA SEGAWA from £27

Stitch Your Own Decoration Kit by MEGAN CROOK £10

Neoprene wash bag small, make up bag by WE WEAR TEAL £17.50

Bow Hairbands by MIESJE CHAFER 3 for £12

Divine smelling candles by JOIN HANDCRAFTED from £10

Lavender bags by HELEN CHATTERTON from £8

Cable keepers by WOLFRAM LOHR £15

Clicking on the images above will link you to the shops where you can buy from and support these small businesses. I’m in no way affiliated with or paid by any of them (with the exception of CHELACHE which is ME!); I just enjoy sharing lovely things with others and spreading the love.

This is just a tiny selection of unsusual and beautiful stuff by people (not huge corporations) that you can find out there.

If you have any other recommendations or suggestions, feel free to comment below. And of course do share this blog post! The more people we get on board with the JUST A CARD mentality the better!

JUST A CARD INDIE WEEK DAY 4 - CERAMICS

Today is day four of JUST A CARD’s Indie Week and it’s all about spreading the love. Well I’ve been doing that all week, recommending where to buy different things from the makers and shops that I love. If you missed my previous posts, catch up with the links at the bottom.

Today I’m focussing on ceramics, which is a bit of an obsession of mine. I don’t think I’ve ever come away from a fair that I’ve exhibited at without at least one gorgeous piece by one of the ceramicists. Below is a small selection of makers which I have either bought from in the past or have on my wish list. Actually I might have made a couple of little purchases in the process of writing this (treating myself - my birthday’s tomorrow is my excuse!)! I told you I was obsessed!
