THE EVENT
The Selvedge team brings a curated collection of 50 merchants and makers to Bloomsbury. Our exhibitors sell a range of rare vintage fabrics, covetable haberdashery and skilfully handmade textile treasures. The fair offers the perfect opportunity to meet makers, catch up with old friends, and pick up that special something in preparation for the festive season.
THE VENUE
A Grade I listed building, Mary Ward House is a result of Passmore Edwards’ 19th century philanthropy. Mary Ward inspired the ethos of training, care and entertainment that's behind this centre, which was designed for the less fortunate members of society. Each room has its own ambience, most notably The Dickens Library and the back staircase where Mary Ward House's original mission statement can be found.
